CMS Music Boosters
May 28, 2003

Entire meeting was spent on musical chairs/ice cream social organization.  Event is Thursday June 12 at 6 pm.

There will be two rounds of the game so that all band members can play musical chairs if desired (though they must buy a ticket to play).  The sixth graders are going to play music for one round and the 7th and 8th combined will play music for the other round.  Eric Kobb has music practiced with breaks with both groups.

Cost is $5 for students and $10 for adults - to play musical chairs.  Prizes are $50 for first prize and $25 for second prize (cash prizes in the form of a check).  Ice cream is $1 except FREE for band students.

We will use the gym if it rains.

Equipment needed:  100 chairs, 3 tables (one entry & 2 ice cream), Microphone & sound system, hand stamps & ink, trash bins.

Supplies needed:  Ice cream squares (Lago's),  bowls, spoons, napkins (music dept. has), toppings, tablecloths.

People needed: Announcer, Referees (at least 2 - will also pull 5 chairs each stop), Entry (collect money, stamp hand), Ice Cream (at least 4), Setup (5:00), Clean-up.  Please contact one of the club officers if you are able to help with this event.

Current balance is $4989.57.

Next meeting is third Wed. of September - the 17th at 7:00 pm in CMS Music room.

Note for next year's ninth grader's - EHS holds a mandatory summer marching band camp Aug. 18-22 from 8:30 - 3:30 each day.  There will be a trip to Canobie Lake park at the conclusion of the camp.
