Meeting started at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting was called to order at 6:34 by Carol Bridges.
The minutes of the Dec. 14, 2004 meeting were reviewed and approved.
Treasurer’s Report – Vicky stated our current balance is $4307.41. We made $1175 on the sales of 47 ornaments, but still have to pay a large bill for the remainder. We also took in a net profit of $360.40 on bake sales.
Announcement was made by Jennifer about cancellation of the February concerts. After confirming with Eric Kobb, the Jan. 19 Wind Ensemble rehearsal is also cancelled.
Fundraising:
A. Commemoratives – We will continue to sell at EWA concert (see item B) and Music Fun night, then wait until late March and focus on graduation as a marketing tool. Discussion of dropping the price but decided it was too early to do that since we just made folks pay $25. We’ll keep the price at $25 for now.
B. We were asked by EWA if we wanted to sell refreshments at their concert on 1/29 and later in the spring. Vote was taken and approved. Vicky will ask Gene Guth to give a list of kids involved in playing and we’ll approach those parents first about baking, then use the list from the fall.
C. Pizza Sales – Forms are due by 1/14. Next Wed., 1/19, we will meet at Vicky Marbacher’s home, 1 Scamman Road in Stratham, 778-2760 to tally. Order will be placed by noon on 1/20. Pick-up is Tuesday, 1/25 – Carol will call parents to help with “early or late shift”. Only adults will be sorting/distributing pizza and every order will be double checked before it leaves the room.
D. Music Fun Night – Lasagna will replace spaghetti for ease of heating in the home ec rooms. Jen will purchase salad, dressing rolls, water bottles and hoodsie cups from BJ’s. Jen, Audrey and Carol will make 2 trays each of Lasagna and Liz will call 4 or 5 others to cook as well. We’ll adjust numbers as “reservation” form are returned. Parent volunteers will be lined up to sell tickets for the Musical Chairs – cash prizes for that. Door prizes – 2 Best Buy gift certificates to be purchased by Vicky and 1 grand door prize of an Italian Themed Gift Basked, donated by Audrey Deane – thank you! Audrey will check with Susan Dodge about paper products: plates, napkins, forks, knives, tablecloths. Vicky has spoons from last year. Jen will make arrangements with school to get coffee and butter pats. Jen will also check with theatre people to confirm a clear stage and make arrangements to get chairs to the stage.
E. Front Sign – Jen will speak to front office about publicizing our meetings and Music Fun night on the sign out front (***note***talked to the office – all set!)
No new business – the meeting was adjourned at 7:30.
