Meeting was called to order at 6:30 by Carol Bridges
The minutes of the meeting of the Music Boosters on November 11, 2005 were approved.
Treasurer's report: Julie reported, as of 1/8/06, a balance of $6,962.99.
Jewelry sale profit: $5856.96
Bake sales : $433.31
Fundraising discussions:
1) discussed that the bake sales did not bring in a great deal
of $$- should we discontinue them?
any decision tabled----will revisit before next concert
2) Upcoming pizza sale:
Jan. 20th - orders due back from students
Jan. 25th - 6:00 PM volunteers will meet in Jennifer's classroom to tabulate orders- please bring calculators
Feb. 2 - Thursday- 10:00AM delivery date, will need help at the school all day to get the orders organized and out
Carol will make calls for volunteers
Other Business: Concerning our next meeting date: Should we change back to 2nd Tuesday of the month? The music teachers have not been able to attend Mondays. Eric requested time to discuss the date with the rest of the department.
