Meeting called to order by Sue Sarosiek at 6:30 PM, in the music room.

Sue moved to accept September 13 minutes - accepted.
Treasurer's report: Tim and Julia submitted register report for 9/13/05-10/15/05. A request was made to add 12.00 to balance of a check that had not been cashed. net total = 514.70 Report reviewed and accepted.
Old Business:
Current fundraiser- jewelry sale- Schoodic Mountain Silver Co. Jen Ramsay distributed the catalog and discussed specifics of sale:
- the orders need to be back to the company on November 18th
- orders should be mailed by November 16th -- tentative end of sale- Nov.14
- Sale set to begin October 24, Jen will direct distribution of catalogs/order forms to band/chorus students.
- Jen, Janet and Audrey will meet on Nov. 14 at 6:30 in the band room to tabulate orders to send to the company.
- Eric asked if incentives should be offered to highest sellers of the jewelry? It was agreed that the top 2 sellers would receive a $25.00 gift certificate to Best Buy. Jen Ramsey offered to get the certificates.
- Jen also reminded the group that for 6 months to a year after the jewelry sale CMS would still receive 10% of sales made on the company's web site.
Brief discussion concerning the commemoratives. They are now on sale for 15.00. Tim suggests putting a notice up at local town halls about the availability of the ornaments. Jen will call Stratham, Tim will check Brentwood, and Audrey will contact Exeter Town Hall.
New business
Discussion concerning Music Fun Night- lasagna dinner, teacher concert, and musical chairs. (This event usually does not show a profit, but is a lot of fun for students and parents.) Tentative date set for the last Thursday in March.
Pizza Sale : Start sale after Christmas vacation, call in orders- by noon on Jan 30th. Pizza will be delivered on February 2, 10:00AM (in time for the Super Bowl). As we get closer to the sale we will set a date for tallying orders.
Janet Szarmach brought group's attention to the idea of identifying a restaurant for fund raising--D'Angelos is one that participates. Perhaps, in the future, if we need more ways to raise money....
Jen discussed the idea of Music Boosters collaborating with Evening with the Arts' fund-raising group. This suggestion was directed to Jen by Julie Thibeau. Jen commented that she was not sure how the Music Boosters or CMS music program would benefit from the collaboration, since there is a different focus of the 2 groups.
Jen Ramsay informed the group that there have been 2 music work stations added to the music lab. She will submit a request for expenses.
Eric talked about the BSO performances being offered to students for $10.00 on November 5.
Discussion about future concerts and bake sales; Virginia Burke (a pastry chef) generously offered to make some sweet goodies for sale at the concerts.
Chorus concerts : December 7th and 8th
Band and wind ensemble : December 12th (6th and 7th grade)
December 13th (wind ensemble/8th gr with Exeter High band)
On Dec. 13th , the Exeter HS boosters will do the beverages, we will provide the baked goods for the bake sale.
