Sue/Carol will make a trip to Sam's for salad/bread/water/dessert
Those in attendance will bring lasagnas as well as volunteers that Carol will
contact.
Eric requested 2,500 to support trip to Six Flags on May 20.
Decision tabled as this would leave a balance of $500-
Will be on next month's agenda, Eric will have a more exact figure.
Discussion concerning insurance for music dept. activities.
Especially effects the Summer Band Camp.
Could the Music Boosters take out a policy?
Questions about officer's being held liable?
More research seems to be needed.
Eric addressed continued concern about elementary school music students having to pay for instrumental lessons. This is not equitable with other elementary schools in the area. The School board would not approve an elementary instrumental teacher being hired despite Eric's presentation of 50 page report showing evidence of a need. Pressure upon the school board is needed in the form of parental complaints, strong advocate for the parents of elementary music students. Could Music Boosters supply support in this area? Something to address in finding music booster members for next year?
