ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENT LEARNING

Exeter High School Students Will Demonstrate

  1. The skills needed to read, write, speak, view and listen effectively
  2. Competence in mathematical reasoning and computational skills
  3. An understanding of the cultures and the arts of America and the World.
  4. Knowledge of computers and other forms of technology.
  5. An understanding of vocational choices and skills.
  6. An understanding of the physical and biological world.
  7. The ability to locate, analyze and evaluate information.

SOCIAL EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENT LEARNING

Exeter High School Students Will Demonstrate

  1. Sound personal health and hygiene, and effective daily living skills.
  2. Commitment to their own education, as shown by punctuality, preparedness, and participation.
  3. Respect for all members of the school community.
  4. Respect for public and private property.
  5. Ability to interact responsibly in a diverse society.
  6. Knowledge of the local systems and services available for help, guidance, and emotional support.
