Question 1 - KES - What do you like about this school?
Topic 1 - Administration
Supportive (1) My ideas are listened to and considered by administration.
Topic 2 - Community/Parents
Supportive (1) The support from the parents and community
  Involved (2)

Openness for parents to be involved, part of the learning that goes on.

Topic 3 - School
  Size (6) Small size, friendly
  It's a community school
Topic 4 - Students
Positive (2) The children seem to feel comfortable coming to a warm friendly place where they are all called by name.
Topic 5 - Staff
Communication (1) There is always time to discuss a students needs.
  Dedicated/Friendly (3)

Question 2 - What do you wish was different at this school?
Topic 1 - Academic
Curriculum (2) More integration technologist time
That we go back to higher academic standards with less "fluff" activities.
Extra Help (2) We need a reading specialist
We need math tutor to support children.
Special Ed (1) I believe the children have been neglected. For too many years there has not been enough teachers to help these children. Why was the principal unaware of this very important problem?
Topic 2 - Administration
Communication (1) I don't think our principal is aware of problems in our building or the staff as people. Changes seem to be made without any regard as to how it may affect a person or the students. The moral is low in our building.
Topic 3 - School
  Facility (1) I wish I didn't have to share a classroom
Library (1) We need a media generalist for our library
Technology (1) Separate room for a computer lab so that the computers are up and running all the time. Setting up and shutting down is so time consuming.
Topic 4 - Staff
Guidance Counselor (1) More guidance counselor time
Professional (1) Additional professional staff to support staff and children
Topic 5 - Students
Behavior (1) We have suffered a decrease in our standards for respect and good manners in the name of making sure children always feel good about themselves. Sometimes children should feel badly, that is what a conscience is for.
Topic 6 - Teaching
Communication (1) Time for communication - special education coordinator.
Dedication (1) That all staff were 100% student centered
Training (2) Learn more about the "high" achieving students in our class - how to teach them and challenge them more.
