3. Approval of Minutes

Motion - Board Member Faria moved that the Brentwood School Board accept the minutes of January 8, 2007 Public (as corrected) and Non-Public, January 18, 2007 Public and Non-Public, January 25, 2007.  Board Member Knutson seconded.  Vote - Unanimous.

4. Warrant Articles

Drafts of the warrant articles were distributed for review.  The appropriations will be noted once they are finalized.

5. Budget Committee Presentation

The plan for the presentation to the Budget Committee was discussed.  Counsel will be present to advise on matters of confidentiality.  The Budget Committee request for pre-school cost analysis needs further time for the Central Office to perform, since the analysis will require review of individual educational plans and analysis of specific vendor services related to each student.

Board Member Faria reviewed several specific items in the budget. Clarification was provided by the Chair and Member Knutson on some items.

Resident Cathy Blaisdell said she was not sure on the changes to the budget.  Chair Chesno explained that a 6.6% budget was submitted and the impact of that budget.  Once we have a final number from the Budget Committee, the Board will make final adjustments to the budget.

6. Adjournment

MOTION – Board Member Knutson moved to adjourn the Brentwood School Board Meeting at 6:44 p.m.; Board Member Faria seconded.   Vote - Unanimous
