ERCSD Budget Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes

October 19, 2007 – 10:00 AM

SAU Office

MEMBERS PRESENT:       Bobby Aldrich, Roy Morrisette, David Pendell,

MEMBERS ABSENT:         Melissa Brockelbank, Simon Heslop, Deborah Johnson,

Patty Lovejoy, Mark Poirier, Mark Portu, Elyse Seely

ADMINISTRATION PRESENT:    Nathan Lunney

The committee members in attendance gathered at the SAU conference room prior to launching the site visits throughout the district.

1. Site Visits:  Nathan reviewed briefly the history of the school district and its facilities.  Following that discussion, the committee moved into the rest of the Tuck Learning Campus to begin the tour.  The following is a chronological list of the programs and buildings visited by the committee.

a. Tuck Learning Campus – 30 Linden Street, Exeter

i. SAU 16 Superintendent’s Office

ii. SAU Special Education Administrative Office

iii. Exeter Area Adult Education

iv. Great Bay eLearning Charter School

v. Exeter Alternative Education

b. Seacoast School of Technology – 40 Linden Street, Exeter

c. Exeter High School – 315 Epping Road, Exeter

d. Cooperative Middle School – 100 Academic Way, Stratham

The committee ultimately completed their tours at Exeter High School in deference to the time of day.  The tour would have been compromised significantly by the end of school, parent pickup, and bus departures at the Cooperative Middle School.

2. Next Meeting Date:  Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 7:00pm

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 1:25 PM.
