Exeter Region Cooperative School Board Committee Meeting 

February 19, 2008 

Curriculum Committee – 6:00 PM

Administration:  Arthur Hanson, Victor Sokul, Cindy Freyberger, Tom O’Malley, Bill Perkins, Tony Baldasaro

 

Discussion of the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School took place.  Pertinent points were as follows:

 

• What policies need to be set for EHS & CMS Students for entrance to VLACS
• General agreement that the core courses need to be taken at the schools if the school offers. Exceptions for extenuating circumstances may be made by the principal.
• Still to be decided are the number of courses a student can take virtually for credit.
• The superintendent will have the VLACS prepare at the March Committee meeting.
