Topics discussed:

• Note: The NES Board met at this location prior to the SAU 16 Joint Board meeting.
• Dr. Kossakoski reviewed the revised budget proposal.  The increase prior to adding salary and wage increases is 3.79%.  With the addition of a 3% increase for support staff the budget increase is 4.53.  The increase for the administrative assistant will be included in the next budget update.  If the proposed collective bargaining contract is approved then the overall increase will be 7.58%.  This will result in a projected tax increase of $0.33 per $1,000.  This budget will be presented to the NES Budget Advisory Committee.

• The Board reviewed the projected cost of five and ten year bonds.  Mr. Bouzianis and Ms. Trueman discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the five and ten year bonds.
