School Board: Jan Trueman, Mark Bouzianis, Carolyn Bellisio

Budget Committee:  Don Doane Jody Linnehan, Mark Bouzianis

Administration:  Dennis Dobe, Steve Kossakoski

 

Topics discussed:

·         Ms. Bellisio welcomed the budget committee

·         Dr. Kossakoski provided the budget committee with a general overview of the budget. Currently, the overall  budget is projected to decrease by 1% before considering new projects/warrant articles.

·         Mr. Dobe reviewed the proposed budget highlighting major increases and decreases. 

·         Mr. Army stated that  most of the increases in individual budget accounts are due to contracted salaries and related benefits. 

·         Ms. Bellisio asked the budget committee for their opinion about the parking lot project.  Most members thought that it would be difficult to gain approval for this expenditure due to the recent increase in tax rates.
