Minutes of Special SAU 16 Joint School Boards Meeting

Public Session

 

Present: All members of all schools boards: Kris Magnusson, Kim Casey, Tomasen Madden-Carey, Townley Chisholm, Sally Oxnard, Barbara Collins-RigordaEva, Ray Trueman, Lucy Cushman, Patty Lovejoy, Anne Marie Chesno - Chair, Liz Faria, Tim Hannan, Virginia Knutson, Gary Whitmarsh, Dave Miller, Robert Nigrello, Stacy Penna, John Maxwell, Kathy McNeill - Assistant Chair, Kate Miller - Secretary, Patrick O’Day, Jean Tucker, Cheryl Camacho, Dana Donovan, Alice Mower, Joe Army, Carolyn Bellisio, Mike Price, Katherine McDonnell, Luke Breton, Jim Dubela, John Hazekamp, Bruce Scamman.

 

Also present were the members of the Superintendent Search Committee who are not school board members:  Paul Flynn, Walter Garland, Marty Wilcox, Bill Thompson and Jane Sewalk.

 

Meeting called to order at 9:16 by Chair Anne Marie Chesno, who led the Board in the pledge of allegiance.

 

Anne Marie thanked all the members of the Superintendent Search Committee for their efforts, especially the non-board members: Paul Flynn, Walter Garland, Marty Wilcox, Bill Thompson and Jane Sewalk.

 

The only item on the agenda was the discussion and vote on a new superintendent.

 

Sally Oxnard moved the Board enter non-public session, pursuant to RSA 91-A:3, II (b).  Seconded by Kim Casey.  Chair Chesno invited the non-board members of the Superintendent Search Committee to participate in the non-public session. 

Roll call vote on motion to enter non-public session: unanimous.

 

 

NON-PUBLIC SESSION

 

Return to public session at 11:35 p.m. Ray Trueman moved to adjourn.  Seconded by Townley Chisholm.  Unanimous.  Meeting adjourned at 11:37 p.m.
