Stratham School Board Budget Workshop Minutes

Members Present: Bob O’Sullivan, Mark Poirier

Administration: Katherine Nichol, Assistant Principal, Meg Driscoll and Mary Ellen Palmer, Co-Directors of Special Services, Ray Raudonis, Interim Assistant Superintendent

Mr. O’Sullivan called the meeting to order at 5:08 PM.

 

Ms. Driscoll and Ms. Palmer introduced their proposed 05-06 budget by highlighting major increases; particularly personnel.

 

It was proposed to increase the pre-school position from .8 FTE to 1.0 FTE and to add a .6 FTE Case Manager to assist with the instruction of the identified kindergarten population.

 

A lengthy discussion ensued regarding Medicaid reimbursements and other forms of assistance.

The Budget workshop concluded at 6:15 PM.
