The SAU school districts are committed to working together to achieve common standards and values that will result in graduates who are caring, productive, and contributing members of society.
Any teacher or staff in SAU 16 can get a basic website that they can
easily maintain on any browser and without any special training
required. The pages are designed to have the look and feel of your
school's website so it looks like your pages are integrated into the
website.
To edit a classroom page, the teacher merely clicks on
the blue wrench that
appears on the bottom right corner of each screen. A password must be
entered and then the edit page is displayed. You can then add,
change or delete text and press an update button and your page is
changed.
Subpages can be added to any site by the user - as many
as needed. So you can create a site that has several sections to
it for projects, communications, homework, rules, dates, etc.
Fancier things can be done with the site with a little additional
formatting such as bolding or italicizing text, creating bulleted lists,
adding web links, and even adding graphics. These require a little
more work and are not necessary to publishing a good looking page that
is available to all your students and parents.
