  CMS Awarded NH Middle School of the Year
The Cooperative Middle School has been named the 2008 NH "Middle School Of The Year" out of all middle schools in the state of New Hampshire. Friday, in a school-wide assembly, the NH "Ed"ies committee in sponsorship with McDonald's bestowed the "NH Excellence in Education Award" upon CMS. View more photos.
  EHS Science Classes at City Lab BU
Science teachers Angela Lennox and Heather-Senseney Mellor took the AP and Biology 2 classes to City Lab at Boston University on April 25, 2008 where they collected their own DNA, ran PCR to amplify the DNA and then ran a gel to check and see if they had a particular region on their chromosome 16.

  Main Street School Principal Selection
Stephen Adler has been selected as the next principal for MSS. He is currently a principal with the Lexington, MA school system and previously served as a principal in ME and NH. He starts with Exeter on July 1st.
  Project Prom/Project Graduation '08
The Class of 2008’s Project Prom/ Project Graduation Committee has been hard at work preparing for two chemical-free nights of fun, food and entertainment for their graduating sons and daughters. They are in the final weeks of planning and organizing to bring these two events, which are not covered by class dues, to completion. The Committee’s newest projects include the “Mr. EHS Competition” which will be held in the EHS auditorium on May 8 and the sale of Toegoz sandals that have “Exeter” printed on the strap. Requests for chaperones and raffle prizes for the events will be sent home next month in the senior packet. Monetary donations are still being sought, as well.   Last Day of School
The last day of school for students for all SAU 16 schools will be Thursday June 19th.
