Notice Regarding Special Education Records
NOTICE REGARDING SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS
FOR SAU16 BRENTWOOD, EAST KINGSTON, EXETER, KENSINGTON, NEWFIELDS, STRATHAM, EXETER REGION COOPERATIVE SCHOOL DISTRICTS
The SAU 16 generally retains the special education records of students with disabilities until the student has reached the age of 27, (EHB Records Retention Policy). The school district reserves the right to retain the records for a longer or shorter period of time. Special education records of students born on or before 1989 and 1988 will be destroyed on February 29, 2016. If you are one of these students and wish to pick up your special education records, please contact Lyn Schimoler on or before Monday, February 15, 2016 at 603-775-8645.

A New Hampshire resident, Rose is a motivational speaker and presenter in the areas of competency-based learning, digital learners, differentiation, and school leadership. She is an author, a consultant to the NH Department of Education, an Adjunct Professor in Educational Leadership at Plymouth State University, has been a partner in the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, and has served as Principal in Residence for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
