ADULT EDUCATION STUDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR
Student Services Coordinator needed to work 30 hours/week with adult and teenage students in a multi-faceted program. Students include those seeking basic skills, high school completion, post-secondary transitions, and English language learners. Responsibilities include: crisis intervention, disabilities coordination, referral to community resources, intake and assessment, high school equivalency testing, regional high school liaison, career and college counseling, and assistance in program management and communication. Background in social work and/or mental health preferred. Hours include Monday evening from mid-August – June, and may include limited summer evening hours.

Part-time Adult Education ESL Instructor needed to teach English to adults who are speakers of other languages. Adult learners from many different countries, language and educational backgrounds seek to improve their listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar skills for use in the workplace, home and community. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree and ESL teaching experience; literacy instructional experience a plus. NH Teacher Certification preferred. Part-time, mornings: Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00-11:30 am, beginning Fall 2017. School year. Pay is hourly.

Teach math ranging from fractions to algebra and geometry to adult and teenage learners with a variety of goals. Students may be taking evening high school math credit classes, or improving skills for college. Curriculum development included. One evening/week beginning in September 2017. NH Teacher Certification required; Mathematics 6-12 certification preferred.
