Exeter Region Cooperative School Board (governs Coop. Middle School and Exeter High School, grades 6-12 for all towns in district)

Coop School Board Meetings are broadcast on cable channel 22 in most SAU 16 towns - see schedule.

SAU Joint Board

The SAU Joint Board meets three times annually, in September, December and May. It consists of 33 individual members from the 7 school boards:

Brentwood School Board 5 members
East Kingston School Board 3 members
Exeter School Board 5 members
Exeter Region Cooperative School Board 9 members
Kensington School Board 3 members
Newfields School Board 3 members
Stratham School Board 5 members

The Joint Board hires the SAU Administration and support staff. It has budget responsibilities for SAU activities, i.e. technology, staff development, administration, etc.

SAU Chairs

The SAU Chairs meet on a monthly basis to discuss goals, concerns, activities, etc. of the SAU. They have prime responsibility for the evaluation of the superintendent. Chairs are responsible for keeping their respective boards informed on SAU activities.
